How much space do I have?

Tower fans all have a relatively slim profile, which makes them easy to fit into even the smallest rooms. All the fan blades are enclosed inside the unit, so you won’t be bumping into a bulky fan head in a smaller room. However, if you really are struggling for floor space, a shorter fan could easily be placed on a piece of furniture. Do I want it to freshen the air as well as cool it?

Technically, fans don’t actually cool the air; they just move it around – but that’s perhaps for another post!
